Here is the concept art for a Cape Buff great one since I messed up the last one while editing

Holstein has an African map in the pattern. Mbogo is based on a mud covered buffalo with ox peckers. Highland would be fluffy. Scrum Cap is based on what happens when a Cape buffalo gets really old

I like the curl horn rack. It looks a lot like Pelorovis oldowayensis, a prehistoric species of Buffalo.

#

I would like to see a rack that looks a bit more like Pelorovis antiquus, although it looks fairly similar to the Longhorn rack, so perhaps it could have a bigger and smaller variant or something like that.

A few multi mounts that could be added with the cape buff GO

Me personally, I'm gonna be extremely specific and nit picky with African G1's.
I think African G1's should honestly go more in the direction of the Whitetail G1, meaning, impressive unusual horns/antlers but a more realistic normal body/fur type, specifically for animals that tophy are their horns/antlers.
That being said, the idea I'd have in mind for a G1 Cape Buff is all based on Dagga Boys.

I want to work on a Cape Buff G1 concept but it'll be hand drawn so it'd take a while, but here's what im thinking.
An old batterd bull with huge horns, but on the horns there's moss growing on the bosses, he's got a black coat but he's covered in red mud from wallowing, his fur type is "Unkosibomvu" (zulu for Red King)
Second variation is similar but with a scrum cap horns set, call him beast maybe, after a big bull of a rugby player from SA
Then for a third, a old dagga boy, with a greyish coat, covered in scars and mud with decent horns but one sides horn is more damaged than the other, and call his fur type oubul or something.

Sounds sick

So here's an example of something cool. This Buffalos name is Lindani and he comes from Alden Buffalo. He's about 54"+ inches which for a Buffalo is huge

The inspiration behind the furs and some of the horns

I’m making some new fur types that are more realistic like the ones talked about earlier in this thread but if anyone has other variations or other GO suggestions let me know and I’ll see what I can do

This will be a unpopular one but perhaps the great one common raccoon

No particular theme but I think it would be sick if there was a variation which themed with Mississippi and another with Nem then there would be a few other variations which would just be not themed, also a cool variation I think could be a raccoon which is more fluffy and it has a black/dark gray tertiary coat, with lighter close to gold speckles and streaks running down its side and back also if the undercoat was a silvery reflective colour

I can make a little drawing to layout what I mean

Another multimount idea that could be released with a great one. Honestly would be best with a Nike crocodile but a salty works

@olive crater unfortunately missed the stream but while rewatching you were talking about great one Cape buffalo so figured I’d tag

Another fur idea. Pretty basic but would go well in the current multi mount
