This would make grinding easier. You could mark lakes with good drink zones. Tracker shows the path you walked making it easier to find all the zones.

I think multiple waypoints is something simple that would be extremely helpful, especially with this new thing where you have to watch the animal die to get it to show up on your map (is this new?).
