Many of the reserves in theHunter are perfectly sized. Not too much, not too little. However when Salzwiesen Park was released many people now want more compact, small game maps. I am fine with this as it could introduce new smaller game species, and they could be Backfilled to other maps.

Yet I feel like some maps are a little small, not Salzwiesen. I mean some feel smaller or there’s less area to hunt in a map. For example some maps like Medved Taiga have some large areas of water outside of the ice. And areas that could have been made to hunt on the map (Image will be shown) Yellow is the area where there's a lot of space, but it's not used.

I think a map expander DLC or just expanding some of the maps would be nice. Maybe making a more mountainous area in Yukon so Dall Sheep and Mountain Goat could be backfilled onto it. Most of the newer maps feel larger and most areas seem to end at the edge of the map or where you can’t go any farther.

However I would like some larger maps in the future. Most of the maps are 64 Square KM. In more remote and wild areas the map(s) could be bigger and better. And with a larger map, maybe 100 Square KM. There could be more species on a map, for example I think a mountainous Canada map, with a lower area with rivers and marshy areas would be amazing! With a lot of mountain species in the north, and in the lower regions could feel like a different map entirely. If you get what I mean. And EW has been so good at making areas blend together so good, like on Emerald Coast and Sundarpatan. The way the trees, shrubs and terrain mix is amazing. I would wait a year for a larger, better map with more species.

My biggest gripe is Rancho. There’s prime bighorn territory locked away! A good portion is just carved out of the main map for no reason
