It would be nice for those that like to hunt with no HUD to have an option to keep the zeroing perk functional. Without the HUD, currently you have no idea what your rifle is zeroed for. The 470 Nitro has a nice option on the sight that shows you what it's zeroed for. It would be nice if we could get this as a display inside the scope as you cycle through your zeroed settings. Same for rifles/shotguns etc... with no scope to have a number below the iron sight (Much like the 470 Nitro)

Agreed. Even though irl you normally zero your gun in before you hunt, it would be nice to see something like this, especially with shotguns.

I think even something like what the .375 H&H or Gandahare has in game would be great. Even though they don't have numbers like the .470 does, their sights physically change for different zero distances

Another thought is that "IF" this is done, it would no longer be needed in the HUD and could free up space to tidy it up or add something else of value in its space.

Totally agree. And zeroing should be a passive perk once acquired. It's annoying to keep swapping it back and forth with other skills. Like the one where you reveal need zones at the lookouts, every time i get to a tower I need to make it active, then go back to zeroing, make it active.
