i have call of the wild on epic games, and when i start it i get a black screen

i tried fixing it by uninstalling many times, deleting leftover files and etc

i also disabled nvidia overlay

please help, im trying to fix it for days

hey man, did you fixed it ? I have same problem on 2 different PC's, game only starts in offline mode, but I get black screen if I start game in online mode

i was told i should contact epic games support

you can unplug internet cable right after you launch game from launcher, and then plug it back in, when like 15 seconds pass and game is loading

it kinda helped me but not actually, I can play game offline not logged in with my save, or I can play it fresh but logged in, idk how stupid it is

trust me that i tried this and it didnt work for me, because i wanna play multiplayer

Yea well i was considering buying it from steam but im afraid it would be the same

Steam atleast saves your progress to cloud... and you don't loose it, it's kinda stupid to buy game you already have
