#Change the Gopi 10ga O/U to a side by side

Yeah, Gopi is going to be one of my least used guns for sure. They missed an opportunity releasing a nice sleek 28 gauge for that map. I want a CZ Bobwhite G2 in 28 gauge so bad IRL. 😂
The coach gun is just too iconic!
100% love this. We already have 2 O/U in the game and would’ve loved a newer, more accessible SxS
We technically only have 2, and that is including the 10 Gauge
The 12 Gauge O/U has 3 variations (Caversham, Gamekeeper & Grankin’s Shotgun)
But I do agree that a new SxS Shotgun would be nice, especially a 12 Gauge
Ohh I never use the Gamekeeper and thought it was its own thing, whoops
I’m just curious why there’s some pushback
I rarely see anyone using it. Infact the last time I saw anyone use it was the early access days
I think they should leave the Gopi as it is, it's a fun shotgun to play around with at the clay shooting range. They can always add another SxS later on.
also if we got another SxS I'd prefer it to be chambered in 12 Gauge, it's the far more common shotgun caliber.
but that's just my personal preference
I proposed the 2x Hammer SxS 12ga in my Reserve: https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1328486784044105819 I love having Modern/Traditional calibers & Weapons added but we are really missing out on Classic/Vintage Calibers & Firearms like this gem 😢
Ive been using the 10ga o/u its fun 😞
But it would be even more fun if it was a side by side shooting big ol brass shells
What would be the difference between it being o/u and sbs?
Looks. Time tested design
I also firmly believe the brass shells are more powerful than the plastic ones. I’ll have to test it a little more
I agree it was a missed oppertunity to introduce a 28ga. We already have a lever & semi 10ga I seen no reason to add another given the reserve and game in it & to adjust the birdshot to 1-2 to justify it was a slap to the face. The class adjustment would've been far more ideal in a seperate update to fix all calibers or at the very least an Ammo Expansion DLC.
I can’t say I associate Germany with 10ga shotguns but I say, make the most of it. Change it up🙏
So just remodel the whole gun for no reason?
I’m just describing what I see and perhaps giving a reason as to why that might be. That is the end goal, yes
For the record I'm not against an O/U in any Ga but I do feel its overkill given the Game in SP were a 28ga would've been way better as a new Shotgun & Ga.
Now if it was like most reserves with 1-9 class game in it then I could justify the 10ga being added or just like the semi in a new shotgun weapon pack.
I can agree with this entirely but it's not for the same reason as the OP.
A 10ga rabbit ear double barrel would absolutely fit in a western weapon pack theme.
Now, SP is an estate in Germany focused on bird hunting, to me that means convoluted outfits and high ceremony hunts that are needlessly posh. I'd expect a much much MUCH more elegant weapon there. The O/U 10ga feels like a very new world thing and looks pretty ordinary.
On the other hand a Westley Richard's 16ga O/U sidelever with fine walnut wood and engraving would feel like a proper ceremonial bird gun
I definitely associate old world small game hunting with side by sides rather than o/u simply because they are wayyy cheaper. Hell the Brits held a monopoly over the market for a lonnggggg time.
Like this? I could see this as a 28ga used for quail and partridge
