Y'all remember the very first mission in Layton after the tutorials? Hope- A Visitor, you go to his camp and follow some tracks to a bush with some torn clothing. That's it. The whole mission. We can do better.
After the mission Doc sends you a message that he spotted a light on at the Roonachee Church. Hope is over in Balmont but he's got a camp in the church and doc wants you to make sure nobody is messing with it.
As you get to the church you hear an ATV speed off. Inside the church there's trash and empty bottles on the floor. On the bench near the boxes of ammo there's a backpack and a rifle. Over on the sleeping mat there's a journal.
Seems a man named Joseph Baden has been poaching elk on the reserve and Hope has been gathering evidence on him. Baden wrecked his camp to distract him and tore his coat in the process.
Now that you've found evidence and turned it over to Doc you've earned a reward. Joseph's custom Huntsman rifle. It's the the same model as the base game weapon but had a lot of work put into it by the previous owner.
This one has a wood stock, tritium sights as standard, a leather cheek pad, and most importantly it uses .30-06 Ammo
(NOTE: This is mainly for my bias but I figure it helps others out. Reason 1, even if we don't have the dlc we had to download the data. Reason 2, the ammo is there regardless, Reason 3, it nicely closes a mission that has no ending. Reason 4, FUN)
