So a few people have responded these weapons in the pass or in chats or in twitch or YouTube chats so I took a few that where of interest and a couple of my own up first is a 28ga shotgun that is pump action 3 round mag comes with bird shot and slug (2-5) then he have a handheld crossbow pistol now the 205g bolts will be (1-5) then 450g bolts (3-7) then 550g bolts (5-9) and the crossbow pistol will have a 60lbs draw weight then we got a 20ga muzzleloader then the BIG ONE a 54cal side by side muzzleloader classes (4-9)

why not just add another 4.10?
Personally, I’d rather a .72 over a 54.
Bigger = Better
Flintlocks should be a .32 for small game and at least a .54 or larger for big game, doesn't need to be a double barrel. But a double barrel muzzleloading 12 gauge would be sweet!
I'd take any 28 gauge and .410 at this point, but would probably prefer the 28 in either a side-by-side or semi auto.
Great weapons choices!
A .410 is ok but we don’t have a 28 and it will complete the set of all shotguns that and it is better for class4-5
The 20ga was just a choice I own one irl love it for squirrels and the occasional fox
I'd honestly never heard of the .20 flintlock, but I know the .32 is pretty popular with the small game muzzleloader hunters.
It’s 20 ga shotgun but it takes shot as well as slugs
It’s been a minute so I put cal instead of ga I just forgot it’s a shotgun and not a rifle I just spent the past minute digging through my boxes for 20 cal rounds instead of 20g rounds sorry for the small mistake
Over under 28ga would be slick for small game paired with some good birdshot
I just did a pump because there’s only two guns that are pumps so it was either a semi or single or side by side or OVU so I just thought it would be different
Then I'd suggest the Ithaca model 37 as the inspiration
Dude, my uncle has no kids, and I'm low-key hoping he passes down my grandpa's Ithica 37 12 gauge to me in his will. You know, many, MANY years from now. Lol I'm the only grandkid who hunts.
If I ever get a dedicated slug gun for deer, I want an Ithica. They're so slick. As of now I'm looking at just getting a slug barrel for my Mossberg Maverick 88 20 gauge.
the Ballista Bat crossbow pistol in the photo has a draw weight of 150lb. I'd love to have that in game.
I did 55 that why it’s not over powered yes I could make it stronger but it was just a thought I’d be ok with it being 150
I have a 80lb hand crossbow. It's great for small stuff, but you wouldn't want to shoot deer with it. 150lb on the other hand....
Here's my own suggestion from more than a year ago: https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1143320785663045742
@tired widget ok but what in the 20ga flintlock
If it's actually a shotgun flintlock, I'd be okay with the 20 gauge, but make it a double. Still want a .32 squirrel rifle.
I’ll add it
@cyan shale I can add the image 😢
That's a slick looking bunny buster. 😂
lol but if the double barrel.54 gets adopted into the game then I’m happy my buddy’s dad has on in 54 and he blow a whitetail fawn away with it during a drive then smokes a 12 point buck that stopped to sniff the fawn and the time between the shots was 30 seconds no lie
Ha! That's awesome. A double barrel muzzleloading rifle doesn't do much for me compared to a muzzleloading shotgun, but I can definitely see the appeal in it after hearing that.
I got my doe to still it’s still weighs in the back of my mind that I hit that buck in the low stomach I didn’t realize the my scope was knocked off it’s zero so what would have been a clean lung hit it hit far low and left he ran across property lines and die it’s a kill but not a good first one but I’ll admit that I’m human and mistakes happen even when it one that no one likes but those mules are good looking
Muzzleloading is always an adventure. I've had multiple misfires with a synthetic stock traditional caplock on broadside deer at 25 yards. 😆 I shoot a Traditions Buckstalker in-line now, but I do want a Pennsylvania flintlock at some point. In-game I mostly use the Curman when I muzzleloader hunt, but I would totally use flintlocks all the time if they were added.
Yeah but that hit was a 350 with a 180 soft point if I would’ve waited till dark I would’ve jumped him up again and he probably would’ve died but yeah I shot my doe on a frozen lake she was on a island and I went skating from the recoil by 1.5ft
My goodness, what's the recoil like on a .54 compared to a .50?
No I was shooting a .50 on ice with low traction so yeah but the blood didn’t help in getting it to the mainland lol
Gotcha.
but I smoked 3 coyotes with my 350 legand this deer season and she kept she zero
@cyan shale they make one in 63cal
That's a round I'd also love to see in-game. That, the .450 Legend, and the .360 Buckhammer.
350 legand is a good deer gun 360Buckhammer is a well hammer for deer
I'm not sure we need freaking gigantic muzzleloaders in the game, just ones big enough to cover Class 9. They're cool, don't get me wrong, but I want something more akin to the Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and Hawken rifles. The guns that paved the way from the Revolution to the American West.
Agreed but the Kodiak express helped the hunters in Alaska to Africa I’d be down for one in 450 express 5-9 or 6-9 it’d be different and fun
Maybe in .58?
They have 58s and 45-70 9.3-74r 8x57jrs and 450 nitro so any of them would be a great option
@tired widget what well should or could be changed it modified I’m just asking
Other than making the crossbow minimum 150 draw its fine really. I'd love a rolling block to be a .45-70 or .50-110 cartridge but we don't have enough black powder guns either
45-70 in game is technically smokeless but yeah
I mean we need more muzzleloader designs. The other two are cartridges used in the original rolling block rifles. The .45-70 can use smokeless powder, but the .50-110 would be black powder cartridges like the Ghandare
Yeah but what would the class range be
For the .50-110? Might as well be 4-9 if the ghandare is. It's a smaller bullet too.
A .54 cal muzzleloader could be 4-9 too
The 54 is planned on being a 4-9
Do you plan to have the .54 using plan lead rounds? Or are you okay with modern bullet designs for it?
Idk probably lead because it’s a .54 and not a 50 or 45 but if so they will be flat and hollow
This thing is an old design but so modern it would probably benefit from new bullets.
Edit: I have no idea why I thought we were talking about this muzzleloader, my brain is fried
Yeah that was the plan that a .50 and a different weapon pack
Here are some 54 sabots
Ah, yeah I spent my entire day at a range trying to teach someone to shoot so I'm out of it a bit
I was thinking of these for some reason
The black tips ok but heck no to then aluminum tipped ones plus the .54 is supposed to have the ability to be a gun to have the knockdown that most big bore rifles are ment to be
That's a lead alloy tip, meant to help with long range shots. I'm thinking about doing an all muzzleloader pack thread
Maybe
Ok but that is ment to me like the 470 a defense against big animals and a stacking rifle like most muzzleloaders
Those aren't .54s as far as I know, they're made for specific long range guns.
But the .54 could use full bore copper jacket bullets. Or hard cast lead bullets. It should definitely be a heavy for caliber bullet with big impact.
Maybe it should be like the hudzik, the hard cast lead being like a 6-9 and the copper jacket coving 4-7 or something
True I just picked the two I was talking about could probably find .54 copper flat nosed rounds
We the people want it. 😂
The muzzleloader pack?
Yes.
@tired widget .54 solid copper rounds don’t exist so flat nose lead rounds or round nose one or hollows with copper shells
@tired widget 485 grain flat nose that’s what will roll all the buffalo and grizz it wants
It's up
Copper jacket bullets are pretty popular
Pic didn't attach
For a .54 in flat nose there all lead I looked for like 5 minutes the copper jacket one are either poly tipped or hollow I want flat nose and there all lead so lead round with sabot so yeah it’s a old but modern rifle so old but modern round are at play
Check out Lyman's bullet casting moulds
Ok and like I said lead in sabots I only found 50 copper solids

@tired widget @proud token all 3 of these are 10mm rifles two are semi one is bolt the bolt action is a milled out and fitted Mauser carbine I’m thinking on pitching this to the community but don’t know witch to use there all interested and unique
Honestly, with the non-AR style semi auto. It has a more unique profile and nice sights. I knew someone who hunted pigs with one that was similar to it, a .45 tho, and he loved it
Yeah the mausers come in many calibers
I think if we got a Mauser in anything but 8mm people would be upset
My thoughts but it’s still a option but it never hurts to ask
I just did a western style pack but I'm already thinking about another one
Well people want 357mag lever gun it would be a great addition but the 44 lever owns the handgun rifles among lever guns just trying to think out side the box
I can think of half a dozen lever actions I'd love to see in game.
Also, possible 10mm here if it was done custom or had a little video game logic to it
I wouldn't mind another AR if its a bolt AR instead of a semi.
There is 357mag bolt action so maybe that could be of better use
Idk, a .357 lever gun would be awesome, this one comes in .45 colt too
Yeah it is but it’s just a moradi in 357 or 45 colt just my opinion a bolt gun would be different then another handgun cartridge lever gun and don’t get me wrong I love lever actions but we don’t have a handgun cartridge bolt gun but I’d be happy either way
I suggested a .454 lever action here with the ability to use .45 colt as well as the regular .454. IRL it works exactly the same, in game it has the widest class range of any rifle if you have either dlc that gives .45 colt. I have an idea for a different kind of lever gun for the .357, and it doesn't look like the Moradi either
I’m not saying that I’m just saying people may portray it as a moradi rip off plus it it’s would a different way to have a handgun cartridge in a rifle it’s just not a lever gun like ever handgun cartridge is in a lever gun there is few that don’t other platforms besides lever gun that’s all I’m saying like yeah the 454 in single shot platform I just made a suggestion that it could be unique that’s it just a different way to have a cartridge in a different weapon platform for all I care it could be in a Henry big boy X model I really don’t care
