#maps Snowbluff pass hunting reserve brings some of Canada’s most iconic species into the Hunter call of the wild. The map will introduce 7 new species and it will also have 7 in-game species . The map also brings in a new weapon which is the 30-06 Springfield.

With the map comes the new species the first of which is the Snow shoe hare the snow shoe hare will be found all over the map But the maple forests will be where the highest density of them are.

Another species that would be found on the reserve is the Californian quail they will be spotted mostly in forests around the open plains where in earl hours you will hear there call and potential spot them in the clearings and plains among the reserve

The next species is one unique duck. The northern shoveler can be found in the marshes and ponds of the reserve where they will be using their unique bill to feed.

Then we have another species of ducks the northern pintail, the most popular duck to hunt on the reserve, They can’t be found from the lakes scattered around the reserve to the river.

The map will also introduce the all cunning and extremely elusive wolverine similar to the tigers the wolverine will have a reduced population on the reserve there will be roughly 25 wolverines on the map at one given time, the wolverine can be found all over this reserve.

The map will also introduce the dall sheep which can mostly be found in the higher mountainous regions of the reserve with there impressive curls these are one of the most sought after species on the reserve.

The final new species found on this map will be the musk ox these impressive creatures can be found in the opener parts of the reserve where they can run or charge from predators and players, one of the more popular species is this magnificent beast.

The other species on the reserve are the
Gray wolf
Canadian goose
Plains bison
Reindeer
The moose
Red fox
grizzly bear.

I plan to make another one of these so leave a idea below

Underrated?

Wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot of this stuff on the summer map.

Hopefully personally I think a map like this would be sick but maybe it would need to have a few species that are already in game removed as to not overshadow Yukon

No, I welcome anything that leads to remastered Grizzly and Caribou.

cerulean scaffold
#

Same but the other species I wouldn’t be sure

I also like the idea of a present but limited wolverine population.

Was going to put black tail on the list but they aren’t present where the map is based also for the wolverines I think it would be best is they didn’t have a large population so you couldn’t just find them like in 3 seconds similar to real life but obviously not as rare

What province or territory though?

cerulean scaffold

the part of Canada where musk ox are at the most southern and bison are at their most northern slightly overlapping

Little too similar to Yukon, no?

Can I suggest the Tikka T3x Arctic in .338 Federal?

California Quail do not live in Northern Canada at all

The only parts of Canada they are found in is Southwestern British Columbia near the US Border

# cerulean scaffold Sundarpatan wouldn’t have tigers and snow leopards in the same map then.

Nepal is a much smaller country then Canada

Also Bengal Tigers have been recorded at elevations as high as 13,800 feet in the Himalayan Mountains of nearby Bhutan and 10,384 feet in elevation in Eastern Nepal

In general tigers can live at higher elevations then is expected

To summarize, having tigers and snow leopards on a reserve set in Nepal is not the same as putting a bird that is found in the warmer Pacific Coast on the same reserve as Muskox, an animal well adapted for life on the tundra

# cerulean scaffold Recorded at elevations what high does not mean they regularly stay in that regio...

As far as tigers and snow leopards on Sundarpatan, they live at different elevations anyways
And its far more realistic then California Quail in Northern Canada or Eurasian Wigeon on a reserve in Southern Africa (Vurhonga)

Plus Northern Canada is home to Rock Ptarmigan, Willow Ptarmigan and 3 Species of Grouse
• Ruffed Grouse
• Spruce Grouse
• Sharp-tailed Grouse

Spruce Grouse & Ruffed Grouse are far more iconic Canadian game birds then California Quail simply because the two grouse species are found across the country

Why Infact I drive the almost the same distance of Nepal North to South almost daily going to and from work.

oh never mind I did think Nepal was larger than it was

Any map suggestions I should make a feedback page on

Would there be a new great one to go along with the map?

Plains bison for sure. On the topic of bison, would there not be wood bison instead? I know there are some wood bison populations in Canada.

#

Sketched and colored this a while back. Not a great one, just a normal wood bison.

I mean I have a plains bison grind on SRP, and it is pretty OP since they are only in the plains area of the map.

cerulean scaffold

Also nice drawing like how you included all the scores on the horns

I can just translate what it all means the right/portions of the high part of the map is where the plains with sparse trees are hence why the lines the left side of the map is the part which was reduced to having logs and large trees still fallen over cluttered around from logging companies which were pretty much just cancelled around the time parque fernando was released which is why there is still clutter but the forest is starting to grow back. Then the bottom portions of the map is the forested parts still having clearings here and there where the top of the map on the left is the maple forest šŸ

8km x 8km right?

Also I should add the lakes if the map was actually ingame would be much smaller or there would be more and also I don’t know if this is just me but I live it when the river connects to a lake

# cerulean scaffold Yes if that is the average

Ok. So, I do topography maps to show elevation, and I shade spots where there is water. I don’t necessarily draw the trees on the map and show the dark and light spots to have depended on how it would look from the sky in black and white. Instead, I shade in a specific way to show water bodies, and I shade in another way to show elevation. Something like this (an old map I made):

Not your map but an old one to give an example

So here is the realism problem of which makes me question what a reserve map would look like; more specifically how the terrain would be for the animals. If there were to be dall sheep (referring to your animal list above), then there would have to be huge, stoney, arid mountains. For the waterfowl, marshes like you said. Flat taiga for the muskoxen. An average 8 x 8km reserve would not be able to consist of such terrains because of the differences between those terrains. As for the animals themselves, there doesn’t seem to be a place on earth where all of the species in your species list live together in an 8 x 8km area. The map pics above show the ranges of Dall sheep (green), plains bison (dark brown[light brown is wood bison]), and muskox (purple). I suggest major changes to your reserve plan.
