Animal Remodeling and Fur Rework

Here’s a list of animals that need some visual updates with examples!

Lions

first of all, what TYPE of lion? In game they’re just called “lions”. There’s tons of subspecies.

If we’re going with West African Lion; they tend to have lighter underbellies, white chins alongside gold and black manes. They also have faint stripes on their legs.

Grizzly Bear

This one is self explanatory because what the hell. Why is it so ugly?
The entire model needs obvious rework that has been ignored for 6 years.
The face, the body, the texture, gross. Just fix it all.

Everything on Vurhonga needs rework! Especially the warthogs and jackals, gemsbok could use an update too.

Why does the lioness look like that? She is so ugly it’s unbelievable.

Also the orange mane on this male lion could be cool for a rare fur type but EW would need to excute it perfectly for it to not look ugly.

Also, lions can not be Albino!! They can be Leusistic though, so the fur type should be changed completely.

Gemsbok

Their model is almost perfect but it could use some fine tuning!!

What really needs work is their fur, they need more variety. All of the current fur types (except Gold) are commonly seen among Gemsbok.. so why are they rare?

Coyote

Coyotes have needed a remodel and a class change for YEARSS now. They should really be class 3 as they are larger than foxes!!

Red Fox

I know they got a slight remodel and new animations or whatever but they honestly can STILL use some tweaks on the shape of their face.

Here’s a clear visual of the size differences between red foxes, coyotes, and grey wolves.

The fur needs an insane texture change because the bears just look shaved of all their fur and fat. They are large animals yes but they have shaggy fur which needs a visual update

Warthog

Honestly, this model isn't horrible but it could use some good refinements!

Wild Boar

On the other hand, the wild boar needs a good remodel. It is almost too brown and its mottling pattern makes it look horrible in-game. They could use some more fluff on them as well.

They also have this white fur type, not albino nor leusistic.
(The boar in the last two images are listed as albino, but it seems too brown to be that).

Grey Wolves

"Grey" vs "Dark Grey"... why is this even considered as a rare? This is actually horrible.

Heres our grey wolf model vs other game models. While all of these other models need work too, their anatomy and fur textures are mostly better than TCOTW.

While Planet Zoo can get lazy with their colours by just taking their main model and adjusting the saturation on it, it is still better than TCOTW by far.

the one thing i will say about grizzlies: they have great animations. soooo much better than black bears and browns. looks a lot more like how they actually move

and with lions, make their manes look like tahr fur! tahr are so fluffy and lion manes need the same texture
