whenever i press windows+shift+s it wont let me take a screenshot
also i cant press on my other monitor since my cotw just minimizes
sometimes if i play cotw my 2nd screen starts to lag

I'm sorry to hear you encountered trouble with taking screenshots.
Several key shortcuts are intentionally disabled while the game is running, and this unfortunately includes the Windows+Shift+S combination.
However, you can instead take screenshots using various background recording software such as the Windows built-in Game Bar accessible by pressing the Windows key+G, the Nvidia overlay, or the Steam overlay if you're playing on that platform - there, you can take screenshots by pressing F12 by default.
The game is intended to minimize if you tab out of it in fullscreen mode - if you'd like it to remain open when you click on your other screen, please consider switching to windowed or borderless windowed mode.
