Idea is to introduce new ammo that works in old rifles as well as the new ones
.270 Tracker - A semi-auto rifle with a 4 round magazine, half a unit heavier than the bolt action rifle. With this rifle comes a variation of ammo based on the 130 grain bullets, Bonded Soft Points that feature immense straight line penetration but little expansion and Jacketed Round Nose bullets that expand explosively to make for massive blood trails. These are LIGHTER bullets allowing the .270 to be used on class 3-7 game and passing the harvest check.
.45-70 Professional- A finely crafted falling block rifle, it offers a rock solid design with modern materials made to tame excessive recoil and pressure from powerful ammunition. This single shot rifle was made for hunting the largest and most dangerous animals there are, as such, the ammunition it brings is made for the task. 500gr. Solid Copper bullets that expand very little in exchange for the ability to pass through over 6 feet of solid bone and flesh. The Jacketed round nose bullets have a bit less than a third the penetration of the Solids but expand to almost double the original diameter to cause massive blood trails and quick recovery. As these are designed only for heavy game I recommend them from class 7-9 animals only.
.223 Survivor- a truly ultralight single shot rifle, the rifle breaks down into three parts without the use of tool making it an ideal survival kit addition. While it can use the standard ammunition, this rifle takes advantage of the lighter 36 gr. bullets to effectively take small game with little meat loss. Match bullets do not expand but they are ideal for small targets such as birds or rabbits. Copper Hollow Points expand so rapidly they rarely exit the target, making them ideal for creatures like foxes or raccoons. These light bullets allow for class 1-2 to be harvested ethically at much greater distances than the .22H can reach.
