Oh thats easy for me: Last I checked Sport-hunting is outlawed in India
That is why I downvoted and I will explain why
And just because we can now somewhat expect Protected Species in the game does NOT mean we will be getting reserves set in countries that have BANNED sport-hunting generally speaking, which rules out
• India
• Afghanistan
• China (since 2006)
• Kenya (since 1970)
• South Sudan (this was one of the first things they did upon becoming independent from Sudan)
• Brazil (only in Rio Grande do Sul and only for wild boar and ducks, but its an on and off situation meaning that while it did open in 2013, it may be banned now, and subsistence hunting is quite different and there is no way they would allow foreign hunters to take part)
Why do I say Sport Hunting specifically
• it can be used to refer to Trophy Hunting, which is what we are all doing in this game one way or another
If we did get another map in Asia its more then likely to be somewhere like Japan, Central Asia, Mongolia or Pakistan with places like the UAE (as a compact map), Malaysia and the Caucasus Mountains also being possibilities
Nepal worked for several reasons (in my opinion)
• It already has a hunting reserve irl that is referred to in the in-game dialogue on Sundarpatan
• I suspect the talk about reopening tiger hunting in Nepal might have contributed to their inclusion on Sundarpatan
• Its home to the highly requested Tahr and is one of the two main destinations for them (New Zealand is just more accessible)
