I love hunting on Layton Lake, but this video below highlighted something I think needs to be fixed regarding Layton. It's just that there aren't as many animals as there used to be on this map, and it isn't as loaded. It's like you have to be there at the right time at the right place, hence why it's not as popular anymore, and it breaks my heart some as a fan since the original maps were released.

In the video below, starting at 3:18 and ending at 5:22 LadyLegendXO highlights that and I'd love it to please be taken into consideration for a future update for there to be more animals to see, spot and hunt. Not new species, just more animals of the species already present to hunt on the map.

I agree! This isn't just a Layton problem. This is a problem on several maps. I understand they are keeping the populations lower for the old console to still run the game, but man i can't wait till they move on from the old consoles. Some maps just feel dead currently. We need more animals 🙏

the fact of having a lot of creatures was not due to the Old console, I have been using an Xbox since its creation, without ever changing anything and I have no problems apart from the DVD player. When I play Revontuli in multiplayer, I play like if I had the map. Maybe some people have a problem with their old console but personally I have no problem with the game, I can play Sunderpatan, Emerald Coast etc... without having any major problems.

I use to play on the Xbox One before upgrading to the Series X about a year ago and the only issues I had playing on any map was the multiplayer crashing on me, I never had issues with Layton Lakes specifically and it still serves as a good map for me and my friends to walk around and shoot stuff

Well Jaxy said in a stream that the old consoles was holding us back with animals if I recall correctly.

in an old stream I would have to watch because it's a small number of people for whom it poses a problem then. But since Revontulie there are more and more animals before it was only 6-9 animals per card now it's 15 or a little more per card. Knowing that the news is working well. There is indeed a problem, ducks, in multiplayer I can tell you that it is buggy in such a way that it crashes the game even if at times it is fine.

@lament pilot I'm pretty sure he was referring to adding more animals then are currently in the game. The game is working with the number of species that are currently on the maps. We just won't see more until the older consoles are obsolete. That's what I got out of it anyway.

I do believe the maps could use more animals to make some of them more lively.
