Just a little QoL thing for the interface options. I personally have never once owned an Xbox, and thus am entirely unfamiliar with that controller's button formatting.

I think it’s more of a default thing as Xbox/standard layout is the most common, but ps controllers and continually growing more popular for pc play so having a layout for both in settings would be useful, like a toggle between the controller types

yeah, a lot of the newer games I'm playing have interface options
heck one of my more recent ones has a Nintendo Switch controller layout option, and that's when I learned that was even possible

That’s why I said Xbox in particular, switch is just the face buttons changing order. So most don’t accommodate for a simple change like that. Ps has a lot of changes though
