Please add in the salzwiesen park map, the woodstock, it’s an important animal in europe. This animal give fantastic hunting parties and it is very butiful.
In France we call the woodcock : « the queen of wood » ! This is not for any thing 😂!
Vote for this post for add this animal in game 😉!
Thank you very much !

If I could upvote this twice I would - not having American woodcock on NEM (and even Mississippi) and Eurasian woodcock on Salz (or any other European reserve) was a ridiculously large miss.

Yep! I totally thought that when the species list for Salz was revealed.

Honestly the woodcock and similar birds are some of the only birds that I'm really super in favor of

Would be one of the best species additions EW could make. Backfilled to Salzwiesen, Revontuli, New England Mountains and maybe Hirschfelden.

#

I’d love both Eurasian and American woodcocks added.

NEM and Mississippi for sure. They'd be such a great addition. I can only think of two hunting titles that have had them tbh

They really are, I think the Eurasian woodcocks is much prettier imo. EW could easily use the same model and behaviours for both species though with different textures.

I’d also love to see snipe in game too. Both could exist on the same maps with woodcock in the more forested regions and snipe around wetlands much like waterfowl.

This is neither American woodcock nor Eurasian woodcock. It is Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago).

To hunt woodcock, I would get an English Setter because it is a dog specialized in hunting these birds.

I think they would be a new challenge there like the hardest things to hit for upland hunters

They are a common game species and 3 times the weight of a stubble quail so I don't see why they shouldn't add them the biggest challenge would be that they are very fast making them harder to hit in-game

Funnily enough I'm very bad with language as I speak 3 languages more ore less fluently and another 2 at a base level so I get a bunch of similar words, grammar rules and spellings messed up. I also hate grammar so I'm bad at that especially in English (who thought having their, they're and there was a good idea 😭)ik it by now

lol language is always tough, way I was taught the there/their/they’re difference is this,
“Place” and “there” do not have i’s, while “their” and “mine” do, and I always just read “they’re” as “they are” in my head as that is what the contraction is anyhow.

Ik you know the language well but figured I’d share my “cheat sheet” anyway, might help someone else out, who knows haha.

Woodcock and North American grouse species are absolutely lacking in this game. They would be great additions.

I hope it is added to the Scotland map.

Has anyone else noticed that one of the images in the original post is a snipe, not a woodcock?
