Absolutely not.
Why ?
all animals are huntable, what bothers you about this idea?
if it's the feral cat, I can remove it.
It's not lol, but bats? And honestly New Caledonia isn't even on my reserve want or needs list at all. Literally anywhere else works better, second Aussie map for one and if we were to ever get a Pacific map other than Te Awaroa it would probably be Maui or Molokai
bats are actually huntable. and then I did with what I know and there is only this place, the rest I am going to see the places that you are talking about. but if it's just bats, know that they are hunted to make local cuisine.
That doesn't make them viable for this game or any other omg
what's the problem with hunting bats I don't understand your use of omg and lol.
I don’t think feral cows are what I think would appear in a hunting sim
They have tho - Cabelas Dangerous Hunts 2 Australia. They'd also be viable for an arid Australia map.
I based myself on the real animals that could be hunted there. feral cows damage endemic plant species. that's why. for the bats I just looked again and I'm going to remove 2 because they are not huntable but for once I only make huntable animals.
and if not other problems? for Ayoliam, for you what is very problematic?
There’s a massive list of reserves I’d rather have given the time we have left with this game. New Caledonia just isn’t something I want to see
there are many cattle in the game such as the yak. Ok
ok I understandand which island or country interests you the most in the place
Maui I have not found any huntable species for the moment and Molakai, I have found the axis deer for the moment.
Kinda basic picks from me but…
My no1 map would be African Big 5
No2 would have to be Nunavut/generalization of the Canadian Arctic (a solid combination of NWT, Nunavut, and Yukon)
No3 Central Asia with great biome diversity from the great steppes to high mountains
No4 Amazon
No5 South African Eastern Cape (plains game focused)
yes it's the same for me but if they were to have a location towards the Pacific, which of the locations were you most interested in?
Australia 2.0, Nuniviak Island, or Hawaii would be my picks
ok then I'm going to remove all of that and start from the beginning and search around these places
I will list the different species that I have seen hunting:
for the moment the Nunivak Islands, I have:
- the reindeer
- Muskox
- the brown bear, Grizzly and if I understood correctly black bear
I think I'm going to do more Hawaii because it's easier to find animals that you can hunt. for the moment I found Axis deer, Blackbuck, Spanish goat, Hawaiian ibex, Black Hawaiian sheep (mouflon-feral hybrids), Mouflon sheep, Vancouver bulls… and Polynesian wild boar.
from what I see the landscape is also magnificent there. I took this island because it is magnificent and renowned for its beauty but Hawaii is in fact its English version of new species too: You will find two species of wild goats there, the Spanish goat and the Hawaiian ibex, as well as mouflons. The island of Hawaii is also home to the Hawaiian black sheep.
I already have an idea. a map with 6 islands, each with their own animals and biomes that are different from each other. view that only 6 islands accept hunting and from what I see they don't really have the same huntable animals
For Maui (so 1 island out of the 6) wild pigs, axis deer, wild goats, wild turkeys, pheasants, chukars, francolins, quails and doves.
Molokai is home to a population of approximately 30,000 axis deer, a robust population of pronghorn antelope, wild pigs, goats, and wild turkeys.
the island of Lanai offers the opportunity to hunt bighorn sheep, axis deer and wild turkey.
The island of Oahu offers wild boar and wild goat hunting.
to hunt wild pigs, wild goats and black-tailed deer.
Brush-tailed wallabies and wild livestock are protected in Hawaii and may only be hunted with permission from the Division of Forestry and Wildlife.
I reckon you should put this into a whole new thread.
