The African leopard while being the smaller of the big cats, is known well for his ability to hide effortlessly in trees, rock formations and grasses. The spots are the best example of natural bio-camouflage patterns.

These guys are pretty skittish on the whole, however they have been known to attack a variety of large game like Nyala, Impala, sable to name a few. As well as birds, baboons and vervet monkeys. Attacks on people are not common but certainly are not rare.

Without question a very cool addition should it come to the game as a backfill for Vurhonga, or as one of the flagship species for a second Africa map.

Unique mechanics would certainly be finding these guys nestled up trees during the day.

These guys are also very hard to find irl!

I’ve been out here since April and I’ve only seen 1!

Saw these on my last hunting trip. Fresh tracks from the local Lopard Tom who was eating all the farmers big Impala rams. This Tom lives in on a limestone koppie on the farm, you can see him on the Riebelton Safaris Instagram

Seeing as Leopards literally evolved to be great hunters of our Hominin ancestors like Australopithecus, I think having them be a dangerous species that ambushes you would be amazing to see.

Seeing the Indian Leopard added to Sundarpatan would be cool to see as well.

if i remember correctly, the patterns are literally different for each leopard, it would be nice if one day we have it in the game, see that, the fact that the points are different for each animal encountered

I think we really NEED leopard on Vurhonga and on almost any future African maps, seeming that they inhabited so much of Africa at one point

Can EW make the leopard climb trees when the bait is placed up high?

# cursive raptor If EW gives us leopard we can't have them not drag prey into trees, it'd be such...

Ouu that could give way to a chance encounter like the tiger stalk but this leopard could jump and attack the player or roar loud enough that other animals in the area would flee . Another behavior would be the leopard hunting and dragging carcass and the drag marks could be a tracking option other than foot prints and poop . New single and multi mounts could be added with never seen before tree branches in multi mounts

If you want the leopard, you know what to do. Upvote for the next African map!
