The German Pointer will not track Black Bear with Track Species Command, but will track any other species. I tried to make pointer track Black Bear droppings, Bear tracks, Sleeping spot, drinking spot. But the only commands I can use are the usual Track Small/Medium/Large.

I don't think this is a bug, it's actually stated in the description:
"On your command, it will leap and bound its way towards all but the largest of predators"
