Back filling to sundarpartan with the
Indian leopard class 5 or 6

Clouded leopards class 2or 3

Indian leopards fur types

Common fur type:sandy spotted
Beige spotted.

Rare fur types : pusedomelanistc ,melanstic, strawberry, brown melanistic.

Clouded leopards fur types

Brown with grey/ black big bloatches
,yellowish grey

Rare fur :melanistic and albino

Behavior:Indian leopard : would be solitary with 1 male and 2 to 3 female in the males home range with females home range being smaller.male leopards have a higher chance at going aggressive than females during eating zones with drink zones a lower chance at the leopards going aggressive to add a tree climbing capability to the leopards . Spawn zones in the Tera region typically past the river on the bottom side of the map

Clouded leopards behavior : feeding zones between 00:00 and 23:00 at night since they are mostly nocturnal cats. More arboreal behavior like fleeing up trees and into the canopy (if possible for the game devs to do)

A new tracking mechanic : scent markers and claw rubs that could be added to other big cats too , if your hunting dog is out of the kennel can pick up on scent markers that could be on trees or rocks when investigated reveal tracks that are near by.

When confronted by the player in game they will flee away with rare cases they go aggressive (which should only be near feed zones.

Ps.couldn’t find a picture of an albino clouded leopard.

For the drink zones I would do it like 1 male at the drink zone then female leopards at different times

#

Prolly 1 female at a drink zone at a time and 1 male per home range

Yeah I do like the tiger system but I just wanted to add a little bit more like 1 male per home range and the females home range to be smaller but within the males home range

Just how the tigers can ambush and kill you the leopard should be able to leap out of trees like how they attack Antelope and other prey species. There should be a sound of leaves shaking before they jump out of the tree. And it should be two feed zone types one on the ground and another in the tree with half of a carcass hanging out

Any other suggestions for behavior or fur types?

For the leopard black Buck, barasinga and female nilgai. For the clouded leopard northern muntjac and wooly hare

I’d much prefer Sloth Bears or Asiatic Black Bears over Clouded Leopards. Yes, Cloudeds are found in Nepal, but Asiatic Black Bears and Sooth Bears would make for a much more interesting species, seeing as both are fairly dangerous animals to hunt.

To make the leopards more unique is that if you have a dog the leopard can get distracted by the dog since in places like India and siri lanka leopards hunt dogs
