Something i noticed is that some Animals/Multimounts in the Trophy Lodge cant be put onto Mounts/Plaques that would be the perfect Size for them instand they go on Mounts/Plaques that are way to big.
While that Problem is´nt that present in the Saseka Safari Lodge you can realy notice it in the Spring Creek Manor https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1305292916499152958 because you only have XL and M sized Mounts.

Examples for bad Mount Sizes will be in the picture down below
Also i´m gonna the a new Size System in the Future with a List of Animals/Multimounts that can go on this Mounts.

The problem is that some animals only take up about one-third of their mounts, meaning they could be placed on much smaller mounts instead of these huge ones

This issue can sometimes be found in Saeska imo, especially with blue sheep not being able to go on anything lower than an L plaque, which they don't fill very well

Part of the reason the plaque sizes are so bad is because the animals aren’t proper shoulder mounts, like the piebald moose cow would make sense on that plaque if it actually had the shoulders, but there are still a lot of species that don’t make sense even if they had the shoulders. But overall this is a needed adjustment.

That’s a really good point to bring up. neck mounts look really goofy and old, if they were proper shoulder mounts this wouldn’t be as big of an issue

the fallow and sika could easily fit on the smallest wall mounts

roe deer are sizewise almost twice as big as the most goats and sheeps ingame but the roe deer is the only one thats fits on l mounts

Totally 100% agree with your suggestion! I have the same trophy lodge as you, and the lack of suitably sized trophy mounts is frustrating. So many of the animals look ridiculous when put on a giant oversized mount (the animal gets lost, and it visually ruins the trophy). This needs fixing!

I really hope better trophy customization is coming this winter. Getting rid of the trophies anywhere glitch was the worst thing that's happened to this game.

roo mble needs to be downsized, and it also clips on the rock on the round base

imo every animal and multimount should have listed recommended sizes (maybe even with previews of the animal/animals on said size) but be possible to place anywhere. Give the player more freedom to base their trophies around what they like to hunt, rather than hunting what can fit in their trophy room

just found this, was about to make a post like this myself. ive been going through my lodge trying to make some nice rooms but especially in spring creek its borderline impossible with the trophies i have at the moment.

there seems to be no continuity with the wall mounts at all, being able to but Tahr on a small wall mount but not all 4 Ibex, Feral Goat, Mouflon, or even ROE DEER.

i wouldve really expected some revision of the mount system after they introduced the Premium Mounts DLC and overhauled the UI. Both are great additions but they REALLY dont shine when you have a confusing mess of animals which cant go on certain plaques for no reason at all.

the three photos are side profile comparisons of the minimum plaque sizes for Ibex, Mouflon, and Tahr. Why can the largest and fuzziest one fit on a small mount yet the other two are stuck to medium/large?!(especially Ibex on large. makes no sense at all)

this exact same issue exists on the platforms weirdly. tahr fits onto the small platform, yet ibex and mouflon are supposedly too big to fit on. a side by side of all 3 on a small platform VERY CLEARLY shows mouflon is even SMALLER than the tahr and ibex yet still can only fit onto a medium platform…

also yes my biggest issue is these 3 but also so many continuity issues with especially deer exist…

got confused by this for a second lol! but i totally agree, like if it looks a little funky then just let us put it on it, im not asking to have floating red deer guys just PLEASE have them make some sense 😭😭😭
