New Mexico has some of the best hunting opportunity in the US.
The map it’s self should be broken up in 2 areas
Desert & Ponderosa Pine forest.
Desert should be unique with desert rocky mountains, white sand dunes and mesquite flats, maybe even throw in the lava flow.
The Timber forests can be simple like sliver lake.
It would be cool and realistic to see the changes in the landscape from low desert mesquite to high desert juniper’s & cedars to high timber Pines.

New Mexico offers a unique opportunity & experience to hunt the following animals:

Big Game

• Elk
• Mule Deer
• Coues Deer
• White-tailed Deer
• Pronghorn Antelope
• Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep
• Desert Bighorn Sheep
• Barbary Sheep (Aoudad)
• Oryx (introduced species, found on White Sands Missile Range and surrounding areas)
• Persian Ibex (in the Florida Mountains)
• Black Bear
• Mountain Lion

Small Game

• Cottontail Rabbit
• Jackrabbit
• Tree Squirrel (Abert’s, red, or gray squirrels depending on region)
• Dove (mourning, white-winged, and Eurasian collared-doves)

• Wild Turkey (Merriam’s, Rio Grande, and Gould’s subspecies)
• Quail
• Scaled (blue) quail
• Gambel’s quail
• Montezuma (Mearn’s) quail
• Pheasant
• Dusky Grouse
• Chukar Partridge (limited areas, introduced species)

Waterfowl

• Ducks (various species, including mallards and pintails)
• Geese (Canada, snow, Ross’s, and greater white-fronted geese)
• Sandhill Crane

Thanks for taking my idea into consideration.
Attached is an image of NM unique geography, the White Sands Missile Range, with Valley of Fire lava flow above and the Pine Forest to the right.
