Idaho is home to a diverse array of wildlife, making it a prime destination for hunting enthusiasts. The state boasts a rich hunting community and offers a wide range of species, including mule deer, white-tailed deer, doves, pheasants, mountain goats, elk, moose, wolves, bison, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, turkeys, as well as grizzly and black bears. This abundance of wildlife, paired with Idaho's unique and varied terrain, presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visually stunning game map.
Idaho's landscape is a captivating mix of desert, snow-covered mountains, and rocky regions, creating an immersive and challenging environment for hunters. The state is renowned for producing impressive big game, further adding to its appeal. Incorporating Idaho into a game would not only enhance the overall experience but also attract players who appreciate realistic and engaging hunting environments. I believe this addition would be incredibly popular, and I would be eager to purchase and explore it.

A 6.8 western would be a good gun to come with it

Tbh I would rather have a map like this then Africa 2.0. Not by much, but in modern times Africa doesn’t seem as cool and wild as it used to

No more whitetail maps please. And honestly, Silver Ridge Peaks exists and makes this map moot

Part of the reason I don't want to see white-tailed deer on any more North American Reserves is because they all look the same in game regardless of weather its on Rancho (Coue's Deer) or New England (Northern White-tail), if they made distinctive white-tail subspecies (Which they will have to do for a map set in Suriname or Peru) then maybe I wouldn't be so opposed to white-tailed deer

I should also mention that while I am not entirely opposed to more US based reserves, I would rather see a couple more reserves set in places like the Canadian Arctic, South American Rainforest and one or two African Reserves (Africa 2.0 plus another African Reserve) before we do another US map. Now a Salzwiesen Park-styled map based in the United States (to get a bunch of bird species we are missing for North America) is something I wouldn't mind seeing

Being an Idaho native, I don’t really want a map like this in game (at least not a full sized map, Idaho would be a great Salzweisen style map). There’s simply not enough new big game here to warrant a full sized map now. We already have Moose, Rocky Mountain Elk, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Black Bear, Grizzly Bear, and Gray wolf on other maps.

Sure, there’s plenty of new small game that could be added, but there’s no new big game. It would work well as a Salzweisen Style map imo for this reason.

This is a wonderful map idea since you could have so many animals and bring in so many new ones. I used to play Cabelas Big Game Hunter and there was an Idaho map and it was really fun to hunt. I know it would be even better in COTW. This is probably the best map suggestion i’ve seen!

Maybe if they got some rework to the antlers it would be even better

Yea true. Maybe some new fur variations and some other rework to make them more realistic might make them more wanted or fun to hunt
