This has probably been brought up a lot already but .22lr should be able to be used against class 1 to 2, instead of just class 1. Here in Tennessee we use .22lr for several slightly larger critters like foxes, coons, opossums, beavers, and even bobcats. It already has plenty of power in the game to take down class 2 animals but the class 1 rating keeps you from passing the harvest check. For further proof I just took down this class 3 Blackbuck from 92yds, just my honest opinion though.
