Change how photography works in game to make it more immersive and engaging.
Add a grading system to photos so that we can firstly know if the photo recognised the animal for achievement purposes and also to add a goal to strive towards. Potentially even have it as a way to earn money the better the photo the more money and experience earn. To stop spamming each animal should only be able to have one good photo taken of it at a time.
Change the current camera the ability to just whip out a camera with only a grid and zoom doesn’t feel immersive. Make us have to bring different cameras for different things want long range zoom thats one camera want a view finder thats another. Add more abilities to the camera such as changing exposure adding filters and focusing to allow is to control to a finer detail how the image turns out. Flash and night vision to the camera as well.
Video and audio let us record short clips. Of either just video just audio or both.
Camera traps add trail cams that can record animals helping track the movement of herds find need zones and spot rares. There are many ways to implement this though i would like to see it as an item you place on the side of a tree that holds a days worth of footage based on simulated animal movements. Youll will have to manually check each camera trap to see what animals walked by and reset it.
Most importantly add ways of displaying the photos either in an ingame scrap book or in the trophy lodges.
