Vurhonga brought up to speed

Since the release of Revontuli, every map that has been released has had over 10 species. This leaves the older maps feeling outdated and or barren in comparison. Vurhonga is still one of the best maps in the game but it could still do with an update. So, my solution if possible would be to add three new species that would make the map a lot more lively.

(Here’s my list)

Sable, class 6

Black wildebeest, class 5

Bontebok, class 4

These three species have a limited distribution range but are found in the area that vurhonga is supposed to represent. And if there are plans for a second Africa map two of these three wouldn’t likely be on that map because of their home ranges the exception being sable which are present in other parts of lower Africa.

Vurhonga is kind of a bastard map, its supposed to be South Africa but it actually is more representative of Northern Tanzania/ Uganda, but either way i think only sable is viable becuase black wildebeest and bontebok live much further west from where vurhonga is supposed to be set

Yes the lesser kudu really mess up the placing of Vurhonga but for me I kind of place Vurhonga a little west of Pretoria and south east of Gaborone kinda close to were rustenburg is which all three species are present there since sable are an introduced species in that area and the terrain kind of matches

Ja I found some outfitters that offer Black Wildebees and Bontebok Hunts in region verhonga might be set so I was wrong, they could work (seeming that the terrain Blue Wildebees and Bontebok are originally found in is kind of similar to current verhonga) Sable are naturally occuring in the region but due to over hunting in the Voortrekker era they had to be reintroduced. With the map I attached, Verhonga could only be in the green area imo, even though I still think its wrong.

Honestly I would be happy if they just added sable but the other two would definitely help to make the map feel alive again and I left it out because I felt that it was asking too much but water buck live in that region as well and I’m not asking for greater kudu, common eland and lowland nyala because I want them to be on on Africa 2.0 there are smaller antelopes in the region but the springbok and lesser kudu already fill that gap

Vurhonga needs love

I'd rather Vurhonga be made more to be in 1 with 1 specific region

Hell, you could redo the whole damn story and map and I don't think people would be angry.

I'd go for a Kalahari plains game map

Yeah I feel the #1 problem with Vurhonga is that it severely lacks the aura recent maps have

So give it aura but distinct aura from a potential big 5 map

I wish vurhonga was redone to make it a real bushveld map, hell I'd even pay for that
