Would randomly stop showing spotting info. Would restart my game and it would continue again after about 30 minutes

I had this happen too (Steam). I ended up restarting the game.

I had this happen again when I was using the dog radial menu but switched suddenly to E for spotting. The spotting info disappeared off the main screen, but you could see it on the map. I had to go to the main menu then back to get it to come on again.
