#TruRare/TrueFur!

So...we have TruRacs, but, I wanna take that idea a little further, and bring it to rares, especially piebalds.

As of now, the piebalds in game have a few set patterns you can get, which while cool...makes little to no sense, and to some people, might get kinda old. Piebalds irl have extreme variation and little to none of them are the same. Same goes for things like leucism, perhaps to a lesser extent though.

My idea is that the patterns of the fur could be generated randomly, giving completely random patterns for certain rares, and making every single one feel special, rather than having the same few patterns for each of them! I'm not sure how that could be done, but it seems possible :)

Down below this will be examples of mainly deer, but animals like foxes could also really benefit from it!

And animals like moose, with only one piebald fur, pretty much need it in my opinion

If they could figure out how to implement this, it would be amazing.

That's sick. More animals getting piebalds with an update like this would be awesome

Yes!!! Piebald can vary so much and it's such a shame that piebald patterns are so limited in the game. Here's some more piebald roe deer, which often have this half white pattern

#

Also here's some leucistic foxes (the pelt is from my own collection). The leucistic ones like this are the result of hybridising between wild red foxes and farm-type American red foxes. The farm foxes are kept as pets but often escape and breed with wild foxes which introduces the platinum gene into the population. They are super pretty and I would love to see them in the game

#

And some piebald red foxes with various patterns

I love how the piebald affects the velvet, it’s so pretty although it’s not good for them irl.

And here’s that one blue piebald moose spotted in Norway. Would be a cool Mission Rare on a new snowy map?

Agreed! I love that piebald moose :)

They also REALLY need to add the ability for piebald furs to spawn on any common and uncommon fur type.

These foxes in Planet Zoo for example; they all have different fur types and they ALL have different PIEBALD PATTERNS!

If the developers could create at least 5 piebald variants based on the heaviness of the patches they could code it so the white patches would randomly appear on common and uncommon furs.

#

Example of patch heaviness

  1. Very light patching, only whiteness on the face and feet
  2. Light patching, more patching than the first but less than the third
  3. Normal patching, the current piebald variant for that species in the game but available on ALL common and uncommon fur types
  4. Heavy patching, more white with still a handful of the original fur type
  5. Very heavy patching, all white with only a single patch of the original fur type left (maybe only on the upper body so people don’t mistake them for albinos)
#

All EW really needs to do is just make different overlays of white and code it to appear onto common and uncommon furs types instead of just splashing some white onto one of the most common furs and saying here you go
TruRare please come to TCOTW!!!

#

That'd be insanely cool! I really like the Planet Zoo foxes

I also posted the same idea months ago and it got 50 or so likes. I closed the post because I would rather contribute to this persons post because they are dedicated and clearly have more time to search for and upload photos unlike me. I was only “bumping” my post with messages instead of images that catch people’s eye and start conversations about the topic. If you’re not constantly bumping and adding to your post it won’t get many upvotes. Maybe instead of wishing everyone an “unhappy new year”, just keep it to yourself. There’s literally no reason for you to be mad when the reason your post didn’t get much attention was because of the lack of effort you put into it. Do better. 👍

Hey@south wadi!

Thank you so much for your submission regarding the random fur for piebalds. Rest assured, our team will take it into consideration.

I’m back with more Planet Zoo foxes as examples. I know the first and last one are unrealistic but they’re really cool (piebald on silver/black, piebald on cross/partial mela)

#

One thing that really pmo about the fox Great One is that cross fox fur type is only a G1 and not considered a rare.
While yes it really does fit the G1, it is still a mutated fur type that I feel still should’ve been added to foxes in their update.

A biiiiiig part of this would be common animals looking different! I don't think it could extend to every animal, but animals with spots, such as feral pigs and fallow deer, would all look at least a little different :)

Trophies having their own looks would really help refresh certain things in the game, I have several piebald whitetail, and they all just look the same. The excitement fades after a couple of em for me, so it'd be insanely cool if the patterns were random!

I think they should add RNGenerator for Piebalds at least.

#

The Random fur generator for piebalds will choose a random number between 10 and 99. If the random number is 33 for example, 33% of body will be the color white and the rest 67% will be the color brown. Then the fur will be generated with random patterns like in the picture.

#

of corse they will never add a random fur generator beacuse money = 0
