Usually, as long as you pick up another track, it'll fix, but yeah, it's been a bug for a really long time

I have this issue a lot on PS4. Anytime I'm in an area with a lot of animals/tracks the game slows to a crawl. Also I cannot even hunt in the fields in the new map because it lags like crazy no matter what I do. Sometimes changing the time/main menuing helps but after about 10-20 minutes the lag starts again.

It's super laggy especially in New park on PS4 started on a different account on PS4 and the new park is too laggy to even play though I did get a gold ring necked pheasant but took forever to get to him because running in super slowmo

Expensive world rush their update and didn't very optimize the game, remember the ps4 isn't the problem the game is 2017 old engine and the ps4 running game way more greedy then cotw, I saw a lot of complain on the console lag before I post this.

It's rather okay on ps5, but i could do much better, especially because the ps5 has so much more power than the ps4. We need some performance optimization for consoles. Stuttering moments on even ps5 are not acceptable.

It happens rarely but it happens to me. The game drops in certain areas down to around 30 fps or so from consistent 60 fps in general... moving out of the region helps then. I guess it has to do with your own savegame, where the animals are located and how many are loaded at the same time. When I played on ps4 it was way worse, so the ps5 does a way better job. But it still happens sometimes..., rarely, but... it happens

I also saw reports of people having fps drops on xbox series x in combination with maps with many need zones. So this is an issue of the game itself / the current game progress, not the platform or the computing power. Fresh maps seems to have less or no issues.

I want to have the option to restart a certain map (and the missions) / do a population reset by a button press without sacrificing my characterprogress / ingame credits & unlocks
