The Wolverine is my most wanted species for the game. The Wolverine Great One would be the most special trophy of all. Are you skilled enough for this challenge

GHOST OF THE FOREST GREAT ONE -
Extremely Rare Trophy

Single zones only, not possible to heard manage

Home range larger than normal if it has a drink zone

Not possible to set up tents to farm them

9 different fur variations

They could make more frequent warning sounds when you are near them to help locate the single zones.

If you ever heard a Wolverine you know that is one hell of a scary sound at night.

Eyes could glow at night.

They could go the route of the tigers and just give us a bunch of rare fur types if they decided against a great one.

I don't want to get into the politics of when and where it happens. Their home range is North America, Europe and Asia and im fine with any of these. It could be the last Great One we get. I just hope this amazing animal gets the love it deserves one day. It's my dream animal to hunt in this game

Yeah it’s just funny tho like the ones that are mostly dark with the white splotches on their chest look like fluffy tayras and even a bit like African spotted otters. Anyway I’d like to see a Wolverine on an artic map

Well this thread is about a future Great One. I don't want this thread to get into the politics of where it will be placed. There are several good places all around the world they could be implemented.

I really hope so. I'm hoping the next map has an Elk G1 more than any other G1. We need another Elk map bad. Adding Wolverine to it with Elk would be amazing.

I wouldn't even mind if these Wolverine fur types was just a bunch of rare fur types like the tiger has instead of a G1. I'm thinking of changing the title to get more traction. I just want Wolverine as much as I want more Elk 😂

There has been a couple comments about how Wolverine would have low populations on a map and couldn't be grinded so they shouldn't be G1s.

I think that's exactly why they would be a good candidate. People complain about grinding, so this would be a chance to have a G1 that would be hard to grind.

Imagine how special the Trophy would be if you got lucky and spawned one. It would be almost as special as the Fabled G1 Piebald Whitetail.

My point is, we shouldn't exclude an animal from being a G1 because you can't grind it well. That just gives it a more meaningful Trophy.

Let's get the ghost of the forest a G1 if it ever comes.

I believe if they added Wolverine as a Great One it could surpass the Tahr as the most prized Great One. Just the challenge of it would make the trophy so special!

If they added this, I want there to be a Fabled Michigan fur type. If there was, I would set up a grind just for that skin, not the GO Wolverine itself (if added)

Also I'm thinking it would be hard to set up a grind for these. I think that would be the beauty of it. You would have to shoot them while traveling the map while hunting other animals. It would make the trophy extremely special

This could be the first Great One that only has single zones. Wolverines are solitary animals in the spring, fall and winter. On very rare occasions they have paired up, but most of the time that's only during summer mating.

i propose they do have drink zones because it would be more realistic, but it would be single zones. You would not be able to set up tents on zones and grind them.
When you killed one, the zone will die and will need to be found again. This would make for an extremely rare trophy. If EW thought this would be too rare, they could very slightly increase the spawn rate to help a little if needed.

Singles are possible to herd manage. However if what you're proposing is true then it would take too much time and effort for even the most dedicated players. But I like the idea. Also I will try to get an outline made for a G1 Wolverine concept ideas. Just send me some pics either DM or just @ me here.

It could be the first non grindable G1. The trophy could be extremely rare like the Fabled Piebald Whitetail. The question is who else is skilled enough to take on this challenge?

The people that hate setting up tents over zones should love this. Perfect for the people saying the game is too easy also. It would be one hell of a trophy

Yeah but if you or the taxidermist messes up a specific cut it'll be permanently hideous stink forever. One of my neighbors has one that was taxid five years ago and you can still smell it
