Some of these make absolutely no sense, please change them out to at least seem reasonable

.22-250 and .223 are 2 units, while the .22H and .22lr weigh 2.5

The .450 weighs 3 units but the .270 and .300 bolt action weigh 4

The 7mm single shot and Eckers .30-06 and .303 weigh 4.5 while the M1 Garand and 7mm Malmer bolt action weighs 3.5

The .338s, both of them, weigh 5 units and the .375 (a notably heavier gun irl) just weighs 4 units.

The 12ga over/under weighs 4 units and the pump action weighs 3.5

The 20ga double barel weighs 4 units, and the 20ga semi auto weighs 3.5

Can we PLEASE just shift the weights around to be sensible?

I do agree a lot of the older guns should have their weights adjusted a bit but the thing to remember with stuff is some guns are just heavier than others. An example is both 338s being competition rifles/long range rifles are going to be heavier than the 375 being a hunting rifle. This is proven by the fact that the Tsurugi 338 is based on the Sako TRG 42 in 338 Lapua which bare weight unloaded is about 13-14lbs IRL while the 375 is based on the Kimber Caprivi which bare is about 9lbs IRL for the 375 model. Thus a fully loaded Kimber with a 10oz recoil reducer and a scope will still be lighter than the Sako would be by itself. As a result some thing definitely should be changed, but if they are to be closer to IRL weight then some just won't be balanced because they were based on poor choices for hunting rifles. But that's also assuming you want stuff to be based on IRL weights and not based on being balanced for game mechanic purposes

But yeah the 7mm I think are the dumbest weight wise since realistically a K5 Stutzen is going to be 2-3lbs lighter than Remington 700 or really any normal bolt action 7mm Rem Mag

In general, no I don't really expect real life measurements because it would destroy their system. What I mean is reasonable weights for what they are.

Say 3.5 for .243, .308, and .270 size guns, 4 for .303, .30-06, 7mm and single shots,
Then 4.5 for the .375, drilling, and muzzleloaders. Or at least something similar to this. Something that's more realistic to the weights instead of having it be a whole mechanic limit of how to play

Ah that makes a lot more sense. I'd be happy to finally be able to justify the single shot 7mm instead of the bolt action for once lol
