Canadian Geese were brought to Germany as a park bird in 1929, however since then they are now considered an invasive species. Gives another animal to be added to the roster of Salzwiesen Park.

tbh I was a bit surprised that they weren't on the map, but I get that they didn't want to have too much overlap with Hirschfelden

The map's ambient sound is great, I don't think I could stand the endless honking of Canadian geese ruining the atmosphere.

What they should add is the Egyptian goose, as it is abundant in Germany and is an invasive species.

# crisp lily Do they live in Schleswig Holstein where Salzwiesen is supposed to be located?

Here I upload a screenshot of two pages about the Egyptian Goose species from a wildlife annual report, a resource found on the website of the German Hunters’ Federation.
First Map: Current Egyptian Goose Count
Average values for the hunting years 2016/17 to 2019/20
(Individuals per 100 ha of huntable area in the district)
Second Map: Development of the Egyptian Goose Count
Annual averages from 2006/07 to 2009/10 and 2016/17 to 2019/20 compared
(Individuals per 100 ha of huntable area in the district)

Eurasian coot (Fulica atra)
This species is native and huntable in Germany. This piece fits perfectly in Salzwiesen Park.

I propose that they add both the black swan (Cygnus atratus) to Te Awaroa National Park and the mute swan (Cygnus olor) to Salzwiesen Park, because mute swans are actually hunted in Germany. The last photo is of a hybrid swan (Cygnus atratus x Cygnus olor).
