#Game crashes on loading screen after the winter update 2024, can't get to the main menu.

So after the update, game just hangs while starting to load (when icons changes in bottom right corner), it just freezes (not responding).
The only solution I found so far is to disable ALL DLC on Steam, it loads fine and selects the base reserve (Layton), then it syncs something to Steam.
After that I can exit the game, re-enable ALL DLCs back and it loads one single time fine and I can play till I exit the game because it syncs to steam again after enabling DLCs back.

It's a loop, because I need to keep disabling / enabling DLCs in steam for every single game session just to be able to load the game with DLC's...otherwise it hangs again and again every time till I repeat Steam process described above.

I have the same problem! Yesterday after the update I was able to launch the game just fine and play for an hour before I stopped the game to go do stuff, but when I came back, the game froze in the loading screen (when the sentence "pistage des traces de sang/ tracking blood tracks" appears on screen). I shut down my computer and came back 2 hours later, everything was fine. Today, I was able to get to the menu, but the game froze when I tried going on a map... All the files were valid when I checked
