#Possible Limited-Time Winter Event: Snow in Layton

One of the things I wish they did in COTW was some more limited time events or changes for holidays, like they do some times for Classic. One that I really would enjoy for Christmas/December is just a layer of snow over Layton Lakes District. There would not really be any other changes besides just a layer of snow over Layton, and maybe change the rain weather pattern to snow. I think Layton would be the best choice for this for 3) reasons.

  1. It’s a free reserve so all players can enjoy it.
  2. It’s more beginner friendly compared to Hirschfelden
  3. It’s commonly one of the more liked maps by the community
  4. I like Layton.

This is just a fun idea, obviously not for this winter as this would probably take a lot of time to do for the developers, but maybe for next winter.

Observing the meteorological phenomenon in the Yukon Valley, I find it striking that the snow melts quickly both at night and during the day. In reality, it shouldn’t be like this: the snow should remain during the night, even if it doesn’t snow again, and during the day, the thawing should be slower. Additionally, the snow on the trees tends to melt before the snow on the ground.
