This reserve would be set in Namibia and be along the same lines as the new German map with being a 1/3 to 1/2 size the regular map with population density to scale. The landscape would be perfect for bow hunting the different species of African antelope. There would be none of the big 5 or any of the dangerous African animals just a calm peaceful map perfect for close range rifle shots and bow hunting. The terrain would range from low land scrub brush and plains to thicker more dense registration to where it would require a close quick bow shot.

Species

Blesbok (saddle back, yellow, and white)
Bontebok
Chacma baboon
Eland
Common duiker
Ostrich
Steenbok
Impala
African Oryx (gemsbok)
Springbok
Dik Dik
Red Hartebeest
Sable antelope
Zebra

Assuming we would continue with the 2 great ones I would pick zebra and oryx (gemsbok) these are 2 stand out animals that are good looking.

Like half the species list doesn’t live in Namibia?

Yeah the Bongo will have to go

The bongo is weird, but I liked because of Africa

And I am just noticing the other species that don't belong: Red Duiker and Blue Duiker don't live in Namibia while Bushbuck, Bushpig and Southern Reedbuck only live in the Zambezi (Caprivi) Strip region of Namibia meaning they do not inhabit the parts that I assume this reserve is set in

There are some species that would be better suited to this reserve then the Bongo, Bushpig, Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Red Duiker and Blue Duiker

  • Brown Hyenas (Class 5), they could have a small population on the reserve and are not typically predatory (though exceptions do exist)
  • Cape Porcupine (Class 2), they are a visually striking and would look great in a trophy lodge
  • Ostrich, this bird is quite common and present in Namibia and would be another distinctive trophy for the lodge
  • Steenbok (Class 1 or 2), A small antelope found throughout Namibia
  • Double-banded Sandgrouse: Namibia is home to a host of Sandgrouse Species
  • Caracal (Class 2), a smaller cat species that would be a fun animal to hunt

Like this if you would like to see a different side of Africa than the big 5 which I also want but I think this is more likely to happen before it
