Hello TheEnty05!

Thank you for sharing your suggestions! Your list brings some great ideas to the table that would really enhance the experience. A photo mode would be an awesome addition, allowing players to capture and showcase their hunting moments in more creative ways. Non-typical antlers would definitely be a fun feature for hunters looking to track truly unique trophies, and adding bait sites and feeders for different species like pigs, goats, and bears would surely expand hunting strategies.

The inclusion of trail cameras would be fantastic for scouting and observing wildlife patterns. Also, introducing new callers for specific ducks like the Ferruginous Duck, Goldeneye, and Tufted Duck would really elevate hunting for waterfowl enthusiasts.

I’ll pass this feedback along to the rest of the team! If you have more ideas to share, please feel free to reach out via our support portal: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

hi I had a little suggestion : It would be nice to have more things to spend money on because at level 60 you end up with 500k and a million.
I don't know what we can add to spend more money in the game

Get me feeders and I'd spend a ton of in-game cash setting up the perfect Black Bear outfitting operation...🤣 Same with Feral/Wild Hogs. Hunting deer over feeders wouldn't be the most fun for me, but those other two species would be a blast to bait!

Yep, I was on vacation this weekend when this popped up, but caught the gist when I got home. This is actually why I'm mentioning it. Would be a really exciting addition to several maps.

A few questions on the bait stations:

1.) What sort of attraction radius would it have? It needs to be limited IMO, but have a far greater radius than any caller or scent. Maybe 700-800 yard radius?

2.) How long would the bait last? It would be a pain if we're constantly refreshing it as often as we're currently spraying attractant scent. Maybe two in-game days? Maybe less if it's getting a lot of activity?

3.) How many bait sites should be allowed per map? My thinking is no more than six. We don't need as many as we do tents and stands, but we should definitely be able to put up multiple so it isn't like the electronic caller that limits it to one per person per map.

I'd like a semblance of realism so it isn't a bigger pain/labor than what it's worth.

Another function that would be nice, but would really only apply to feeders rather than bait barrels, would be the ability to turn them on and off. The ability to limit them to daytime use only would be awesome!

# deep linden A few questions on the bait stations: 1.) What sort of attraction radius would ...

1) I think the attraction radius would be between 800 and 1,000 meters.

2) I think the optimal bait duration would be 1 real-life day (24 hours), and it would take 1 real-life hour to take effect once the bait is placed.

3) I think a maximum of 3 would be fine.

  • My idea would be to attract a herd within the feeding radius.
    • Pig feeding station: 2 herds maximum per feeding station.
    • Bear feeding station: 10 individuals per feeding station.
    • Wild goat feeding station: 2 herds maximum per feeding station.

Ex: If there are 3 herds of wild boar within that radius, it would attract only one or two herd, but the closest herd of the 3 would have priority. The herd would then spend about 3 hours of the game at the feeding station, until the bait runs out. However, if two herds come together, the bait would be consumed twice as quickly, reducing its duration.
