A 1/2 size map of Washington's famed Olympic National Forest.
This is a focused area for a handful of animals that don't have too territory to call their own as well as new species. There might be few species but the populations are fairly high.
The stars of the area is Blacktail deer, followed by a small population of black bears with a curious color morph, occasional herds of Roosevelt elk will sometimes meander through the dark timber here.
Small game includes the likes of blue and ruffed grouse, Hungarian and chukar partridge, even the tiny but beautiful mountain quail haunt these eerie forests. No paradise comes without a few varmints, this area includes bobcats, rabbits, and raccoons.
You'll also see, along the lake shores and creek banks, beavers and river otters. Just be careful to make a good shot, once they're in the water you'll have a hard time getting a second chance
