That’s kind of a given. It’s pretty likely for lions to get proper mechanics alongside a great one

Tsavo lions, a subspecies unique for its males having short or even non-existent manes. Or a Black-maned lion.

I’d much rather see a G1 Cape Buffalo than a Lion. There’s far more potential in variation when it comes to a large horned animal than a predator.
