That would be really cool bc no one knows any of these calibers outside of the 8mm within the US it seems or are rather rare finds. So I figured the idea of Regional Weapon Packs with 4 Weapons for $9.99 was a good suggestion.

I'm no expert on Safari rifles either but a friend of mine has a 6.5 he uses for everything from yotes to elk and black bear

In fact the old carl gustavs would also be nice historic addition to the european pack... the so called M/96 or "sweden mauser" in 6,5 × 55 SE. If you ever held one in your hands and saw the year 1889 or something like that on it and saw how precise it still is, you are really impressed.

From my knowledge the 8mm goes by 4 different names across the globe even though its the same caliber. I always knew it as 8mm or 8x57 it depends on the brand of ammo available on our shelves.

To add to that the US in specific also has a problem of naming the 8x57 I and IS as J and JS respectively since according to the lore (I use that as a joke) someone somewhere misread the German print "I" as a "J" and it stuck for a long time and has led to a lot of confusion here especially since places for the US like Midway USA still refer to it as a broad whole of just 8mm Mauser like Lt Wolf mentioned or sometimes more specifically 8x57 JS Mauser on occasion usually followed by the bore diameter since US ammo makers and/or importers have had a problem with marking I bore ammo with IS or JS in the past and causing problems. The reverse has also happened where IS ammo was labeled for I bore guns and lead to mistakes that caused damage

Tldr the 8x57 family of cartridges is confusing in the US sometimes and that confusion has resulted in problems lol

To be clear things up: the I stands for "infantry" as the the cartridge was developed for military use in the late 19th / early 20th century. The S stand for its pointy shape, which the older 8x57 I didn't have.

I feel like if these were released with those classes, either all of these would be "meta", or ew would have to change most if not all calibers to compete with 3-9 and 2-8 guns

I'm expecting all calibers to be redone either by EW adding additional ammo options just as Ultimate hunting has done for all calibers or expanding calibers to their full authentic range referencing actual ammo & applications. As calibers are now that's meta. I still expect calibers to vary in power & knockdown as they should, but caliber game class ranges should purely be based on authentic ammo applications. It bugs me Shotguns & Bows have options while pistols & rifles have 2 ammo options with the same range. "[But let's be honest its 1 not 2 bc Soft Points are seriously outperformed by the Polymer-Tips!]". The Hudzik is the only 1 that has 2 ammo game range options. An yes, the calibers above are authentically classed & genuine. They're not made up.

I havn't posted any since my computer is acting up and I've been swamped at home with my kids & animals. I'm using my Xbox at the moment & it wont allow me to post pictures. And no I dont own a smartphone I have a flip phone 😅

We have bunch of perfect rifles for 1-3 c. (Thanks SKS, our money and our tolerate). We have a lot of perfect rifles for 4-8 c. (except an anti-tank rifle for moose). Even 7-9 c. without problem now. Another rifles for undangerous predators? Feedback divided on two groups now. Give us more new rifles for our money. Rework oldest rifles and animals for "Thanks". The choice is obvious. But.... will it help to back to the game?
