Jim Corbett’s signature rifle, very popular in 20th Century India mainly due to how versatile it is, taken things as small as tahr and animals as big as tigers.

Class 7-9? It’s on the weaker side for express rounds.
While Corbett preferred the .275 Rigby to the Express rounds it still saw regular usage in quite a few famous hunts.

A rifle that embodied versatility, reliability, and power. This iconic firearm was used to an extent on Corbett’s famous Champatwat tiger hunt
