I've been doing a lot of geese hunting and am trying to lure in a diamond potential tundra bean goose, but I have noticed that some flocks I can't spot at all no matter the distance, not even only tundra bean geese but all types of geese, it's really annoying especially when I can'r even chrck if that's the goose I am searching for.
Also I have noticed that those same flocks refuse to come into decoys or calls and it's making it impossible for me to hunt down the level 5 I found.

edit: I just tried shooting at one of these geese and none of the shots were connecting and then it just disappeared into thin air mid flight

Hello phoen1x!

Thanks for reaching out to let us know about this issue. We’re sorry to hear about the difficulties spotting and hunting geese, especially when you're trying to track down a diamond potential one! It sounds like there may be a technical issue affecting spotting and shooting for certain flocks, which would understandably disrupt your hunting experience.

To help us look further into this, please share the details on our support portal: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new. This way, we can better understand the issue and work towards a fix.

I noticed this quite a while ago as well, I think it was in Layton or Hirschfelden, not sure right now. It didn't bother me anyway because I can't hit any of them when they're flying, spottable or otherwise! I shoot em on the ground when they eat! Still noticed this problem, though. To add to the problem description, when looking at the unspottable/unshootable geese through binos I noticed their movement is not smooth, very blocky, best way I can describe is the goose graphical objects are redrawing at their new location too many pixels ahead of the previous location - it's like every other frame is dropping.

I have not hunted these in a while, and i will look into this, but certain flocks need to break in order to scope or shoot them. you do this with their callers. its not a guarantee that they will break on that pass, however, they generally come back for another fly by.

This happens to me all the time, usually when the geese/ducks are beyond 200 meters or just passing by.

I thought it was normal behaviour. Some flying flocks just fly by and you can’t spot them. Other flying flocks don’t give a problem. For as long as I play the game, over a year now, it was like this 🤷‍♀️

There have always been distant flocks of ducks and geese that are essentially for visual ambiance; you cannot spot them and they will not land. As far as I know, this is intended and not a bug. Just keep calling for them, and eventually a flock will come along and land.

They have to be over a big water source, in a zone, or attracted by callers to spot them in the air
