Below the bullet name, show the weight of the bullet in "gr." as well as the fps and muzzle energy at the bullets claimed effective range.

This will give players better insight into the cartridges, since bullets are so diverse and currently the game gives the impression to non-irl-hunters a .308 for example is an objectively stronger gun than the .270, when in real life that's not necessarily true given all the bullet types and grains. It would just be more interesting and informative to show players exactly the kind of bullets they're shooting.

(I understand feet per second and whatnot doesn't line up with the metric system I have selected, but I wasn't thinking about that until I finished making the image)

I’m not entirely sure this would work, as I’m fairly certain the guns are hitscan.

It's not, you have to lead shots on moving targets, wind matters with bows and the airrifle rounds travel slow as hell

How does bullet drop work then? I don't think hitscan is the right term for what you're explaining.

#

Because from my years of fast paced shooter terminology, hitscan means the bullet is instantly scoring wherever your crosshair is when you click/pull the tricker

atleast the bullet weight (as a stat, no gameplay implication) and fps can be added if not the energy since different bullets do travel at different speed ingame.

Love the idea tied with Huxley's post. It would add my authenticity to the game. If not this title a future title for sure.
