I recently jumped from Steam to XBOX Game Pass PC for COTW. I use the same graphical settings on both versions of the game, 4K with everything maxed out and no upscaler. Though both games have the exact graphical settings in game, it seems the XBOX Game Pass PC version has more texture artifacts and texture pop-ups than the steam version. My question is if both platforms run the same instance of the game, meaning if both games are using the exact same texture packs and everything else and if all updates on steam are also on XBOX Game Pass PC.
To me it seems like the textures are lower and poorer in quality in the XBOX Game PASS version compared to Steam. If anyone can confirm if they are the same or not would be perfect, before I purchase more content on XBOX Game Pass.
