I was wondering why the 22-250 is only a Class 2 to 4 gun when I've killed Mule deer with it in real life and I was wondering if we could get a class change potentially

Hello Gavin,

Thank you for your suggestion regarding the .22-250 and its class designation. It's great to hear about your real-life experiences with the caliber! We understand the desire for more realistic classifications based on hunting practices.

While we can't guarantee a class change, we truly appreciate your feedback and encourage you to keep sharing your thoughts. If you have more ideas or want to discuss this further, feel free to reach out through our support portal: https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Killing a Mule Deer with a 22-250

You must be living in an area where that is legal

Where I live the 243 is considered the bare minimum for most big game, mostly because the listed minimum of .23 calibre really does not exist in local gunstores

even if they made it ethical, I doubt it would be fun to track a muley 2 kilometres because you decided to use such an underpowered caliber, even the .243, 6.5 and .270 take a while to take down a muley in the game, the .22-250 would take 2-3 business days to that

Pretty sure .243 is the minimum in America too, not sure where this dude lives.

I know some crack shots that use 22-250 for preservation of the pelts on medium sized bucks. They don’t bother unless they’ve a good heart-shot though. Usually on flat farmland with a berm or something behind, no brush or anything that can get in the way.
