I have THCOTW on epic games and have never played it before, just downloaded it yesterday and it wont start. No corrupted save files or anything, I've updated my drivers, verified the integrity of the game, and did a full clean install. Any ideas or tips on this problem? Seen some post on this but none of them seemed to have resolved there issue and if it did they didnt comment on it.

Unplugged your WiFi and try it
As in unplugged your Ethernet or turn off WiFi on your system

---------------------- Solution (Works on Epic Games and Steam) ----------------------
- Fully close the game from task manager.
- Unplug your ethernet cable from your PC or disconnect from your Wifi depending on your connection type
- Open the game without an Internet connection (if you are on Epic Game like me an error should pop up, just confirm it and let i launch the game anyway)
- The game now succerfully opens and loads correctly, now you can plug the ethernet cable back in your PC or turn on the Wifi connection
- Have fun playing the game! (In offline mode btw) 😢
You can not play the multiplayer btw
Same issue for me, but on steam (i ain't played it in a long long time)
Any way to fix that by chance (gonna try the thing you mentioned above for steam as well)? Just curious

I have contacted support here on Discord but they are not responsible for handling technical support requests.
They redirected me to support on the site and I sent a ticket detailing the problem with additional useful links.
I hope we can find a solution to the problem, not a few of us are unable to enjoy the full game.
In addition, I also bought an add-on pack of the game that I never received, because of this issue.
