The Siku Tundra Hunting Reserve, located on the west coast of Greenland, is a stunning destination that offers a unique hunting experience in a breathtaking Arctic landscape. Renowned worldwide for its polar bear hunting, the reserve is home to a variety of huntable species, including muskox, reindeer, polar bears, Arctic foxes, snowshoe hares, king eiders, Atlantic puffins, and rock ptarmigans. Featuring diverse terrain that ranges from tundra to coastal cliffs, Siku Tundra plays a vital role in wildlife conservation through regulated hunting, particularly of polar bears, whose population is carefully managed to ensure both ecological balance and community safety. This reserve not only promises thrilling hunts but also offers opportunities for wildlife observation, immersing visitors in the beauty and challenges of the Arctic ecosystem.

Feedback is welcome. I spent a fair bit of time on the illustrations so hopefully you like them.

You got any ideas for weapons? a caribou sinew bow would be cool

#

Lever actions seem most fitting, this is a .348 Winchester, very big round.

#

.405 Winchester, M1895

A massive round fit for the biggest game.

# scenic fjord How did you make the map logos and animal logos

Well I noticed that all animal logos are just 1 half of the face then copy pasted and flipped. A symmetrical image, and the icons often use harsh angles but it took a while to get the style down. And the reserve logo took me a while because it was hard making a logo that matched every other logo but in the end it’s all just about imagination and using example images to help you

Holy crap the amount of effort into the logos and stuff are so cool please, PLEASE make more

The only mistake I see is that they don't hunt reindeer but caribou, more specifically they hunt barren-ground caribou.

#

and also that they don't hunt the snowshoe hare but the arctic hare

you can find muskox there and there but more along the coasts

Caribou in Greenland not Reindeer but that's a tiny detail lol.

I'd add Atlantic Walrus, and maybe one of the seals (Harp, Ribbon, or Ringed)

Arctic Wolf is a must

Walrus for sure

#

But not pacific walrus, greenlands nowhere near the pacific.

Exactly! And we still would have gotten exactly what tigers offer but in the form of a leopard, who are just as capable of man-eating as a tiger

Im still praying and hoping we can get man-eating lions and leopards in an africa map

Also regular common eiders live there so don’t forgot to add them

# dire mango Oh yes, and based on the document Sloth Bears and Asiatic Black Bears would also...

I wish they had. I really wish they had.

Don't forget that a lot of locations in COTW are approximations so if it isn't Greenland it could be another Arctic Island (maybe that's even the whole map 👀) - could then make the Caribou Peary's Caribou.

Also, fun fact, the tiger and snow leopard aren't even the only endangered/protected species ingame. It's actually illegal to hunt Eurasian Wigeon in Africa, of all species 🤣

LOL that's genuinely even better, I unironically enjoy the fact that lines are blurred. I'd argue it allows us far more leeway on species choice and hunting options etc

To be fair, Vurhonga is a complete mish-mash of Africa stuff because Lesser Kudu and Side-striped Jackals are solely found in East Africa
