In Spain, in real life, hunting various birds is famous and common. There is the pheasant, but they should also add the red-legged partridge or replace the pheasant with the red-legged partridge.

I think this bird would be easy to make, for example:

  • Red-Legged Partridge

    • Furs:
      • Brown (common)
      • Piebald (rare)
      • Leucistic (very rare)
      • Albino (very rare)
    • Max Weight:
      • 0,590 kg
    • Score:
      • Diamond = 576 pts
      • Gold = 420 pts
      • Silver = 330 pts
      • Bronze = 240 pts
  • Common Quail

    • Furs:
      • Brown (common)
      • Leucistic (very rare)
      • Albino (very rare)
    • Max Weight:
      • 0,150 kg
    • Score:
      • Diamond = 142 pts
      • Gold = 110 pts
      • Silver = 90 pts
      • Bronze = 60 pts
  • Wood Pigeon

    • Furs:
      • Blue Brown (common)
      • Pieblad (very rare)
      • Albino (very rare)
    • Max Weight:
      • 0,615 kg
    • Score:
      • Diamond = 600 pts
      • Gold = 520 pts
      • Silver = 430 pts
      • Bronze = 370 pts

I think this work could be done without problems and I hope they add it soon, it is the most famous bird in Spain.

Yes please. Cuatro is one of my favorite maps, but I've always felt like it's beautiful fields are often void of life. An extra upland birds species or two would make this map perfect imo.

The lack of just things going on is honestly the biggest killer for this map so I totally agree! I've been hunting it for the past three weeks very consistently while working on the missions and only taken breaks to work on a Vurhonga Lion grind and I honestly dread every time I go to open the map. I did some heavy red deer grinding on it years ago when GO Red Deer were first released which killed my general motivation to hunt the map and then I've been trying to go back to old maps and just finish out missions and what not and it just isn't fun. I even prefer Hirschfelden over Cuatro because it feels so... mundane? empty? I don't know, between the lack of animals, the lack of larger species (8s and 9s), and the mundane/monotonous landscape, I struggle so severely with this map.

All to say, wonderful idea and I am in full support of it! Are there any other species of pheasant there or just Ring-Necked?

Would a French map offer any other unique species that aren't anywhere else or just the two pheasant species?

YES!! Oh my god I can't agree with that more! Having those massive spiraling horns would be brilliant as the centerpiece for a new map and I definitley wouldn't complain about the presence of those extra pheasant species haha!

Ha in France you're are much variéties. And to what i see you're are another pheasant if you want the golden One.

Afterwards, if Cuatro is located near the Pyrenees, the Basque countries, more precisely, I know that there is a species of wild cow, the Betizu. It is certainly in danger of extinction but in France it can be hunted. I'm going to see if it's also possible in Spain.

#

I don't think it can ultimately be chased away because in France it is not considered domestic compared to Spain except in Spain there in 900 and in France 100 and is only found in the north of the Spanish Basque countries and the south of the French version. after that it will depend on the location. but in short it remains one of the most beautiful maps of this game.

As you can see, they are from the same genus but they are different species.

No
The Chukar lacks the markings on their neck that the Red-legged Partridge has

Also the barring on their wings are a different colour

Exactly, they are not the same, they are similar but not the same and it is noticeable because the chukar is duller and the red-legged partridge is more vivid in color.

Besides, this species is protected and in danger of extinction.

The Sundarpatan species were the exception, in addition to having a very reduced population, there are 16 tigers and 8 leopards.

I still feel like they should have added indian leopards... they are just as capable of man-eating as tigers and are an actual game species you can hunt in Nepal. But thats a discussion for elsewhere

i had already posted this before (https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1334983974010884126 ) ... red legged partridge is the most common and most bird hunt in europe and the most representative imho of what a pointer dog can do in real hunt. Its not understandable how it was not added yet to european maps. Specially in Spain map. In Portugal and Spain, even France, its the most seeked bird hunt
