Changes and notes:

Scrub Bulls: Make sure the Feral Cattle go in huge herds and only a few Scrub Bulls in it.

Banteng: More horn types.

Javan Rusa: Remove the “White Brown” fur type because male Rusa deer never get it and replace it with “Dark Brown”. Make Rusa deer grind able, they are a species that cannot be grinded.

Sambar: Just like Rusa, they cannot be grinded so please make them grindable.

Axis Deer: Change the name for them for Emerald Coast only and call them “Chital”, basically how the developers made “Feral Hogs” on Mississippi Acres instead of calling them “Feral Pigs” as they are the same thing and Axis deer and called “Chital” in Australia.

The Osceola Turkey will require a Florida map, though with Salwiesen Park that does allow a potential Florida map to be smaller, then Gould's Turkey would either need a map in some other part of Mexico or Arizona and Ocellated Turkeys will require a map set in Southern Mexico (Campeche/Yucatan area)

Nah herding dogs are awful for hunting. Love my American Shepherd but she is no hunting buddy. That goes for any of them - heelers, kelpies, shepherds - all of my hunting buddies talk about how terrible they are when not on the ranch doing their job lmao

Or (I know it's a bit far fetched but it's just an idea for you) instead of a working dog like a kelpie or a heeler, they add in a "pig dog DLC". With this you can choose between either a pitbull, bull mastiff and maybe a Rottweiler to have as a dog that tracks and bails animals from (hypothetically) class 3-6. With this dlc you can customise the dogs "amour" vest with different patterns/colors and you would be able to track your dog with a remote tracker like in irl

To summarize what I think of the list, and it is a mostly good list but

• Brazil outlawed sport hunting more or less, but three countries to the north do allow it: Guyana, Suriname & French Guiana
• China also outlawed sport hunting, but Mongolia did not and its home to the giant Altai Argali alongside wapiti, Mongolian gazelle, wolf and sandgrouse to name some species
• Saudi Arabia from what I found only allows bird hunting, but that could work as a Middle Eastern "Salzwiesen Park" with limited big game (plus we could get a small game airgun).
• I don't know much with regards to Indonesia but if we got a reserve there it would either be set on Borneo Island (Like #1140246673063428096 ) or in West Papua, another southeast Asian country that would work well is Malaysia ( #1253950873248206878 )
• I could see Australia getting a second reserve in the future, but we will have to wait and see
• And for the Canadian Arctic & Greenland: While both maps would have Polar Bear, Walrus, Caribou & Muskox, the Canadian Arctic could be more Big Game focused with additonal species like Dall's Sheep, Grizzly Bear and Moose while Greenland could be more waterfowl and seabird focused with Pink-footed Goose, Little Auk, Thick-billed Murre, Black-legged Kittiwake and King Eider
• Africa could easily host more then two reserves, and that is including a rainforest reserve set in Cameroon, since you stated you want more rainforest maps

my only complaint about this (expect for what others have said about potentially not adding feral horses due to complaints which i can kinda see both sides to even as an australian. 1 hand i love horses i think they are very very cool animals on the other hands they are a invasive species and bc australia's ecosystem especially is so fragile due to how unique it is they shouldnt Be Here. but at the same time brumbies are not an animal that's usually hunted, even when being culled (which i believe is outlawed in certain states in aus like NSW) they tend to be passively trapped and moved. so it's a tad unrealistic for cotw to feature them seeing as they generally aren't hunted. idk its a complex issue in australia some ppl are for keeping brumbies in the country. so personally i think cotw prob wouldnt add them for that reason not only because having domestic animals in general as huntable is sorta controvestial depending on the animal, but also just because brumbies in australia esp is so hotly debated by australians on whether they should even be culled or not. also just animating horses is painful.) is that horses cannot be albino. like at all. they just die

albino horses (or with genes that appear similar to albinism) don't live, they tend to die during birth and/or be stillborn (lethal white syndrome; which is technically genetically dif from albinism but also we have never had any true albino horses that can't really be chalked up to other genes likee palominos or just regular ol white or cremellos or yadahah) i'd personally replace albinos w like smthin else like cremellos or palomino or any number of "white" horses

which would be equally as rare if not veryyy very unlikely for feral brumby. like these coats do exist in domestic/kept populations (and can appear in feral populations. but its unlikely so it'd be probably equal in rarity to albinism in other animals)

I know I'm rather late to the topic, but as another Australian (and one who was workshopping a similar concept before I saw this pop up) - I feel like it would make a lot more sense to leave EC as it is and incorporate a lot of these ideas into a Western Australia map, as opposed to changing the entire essence of EC (which feels extremely east/south-east Queensland, from the coast up into the pastoral country on the Great Dividing Range, and up into the sub-tropical rainforests you can find on the range)

By no means am I saying this is a bad idea, a lot of the animals you cover are also present in the concept I was working on, but as a SEQ resident, with EC being so gorgeously accurate to the area, I'd hate to see it turned into something it isn't (outback and full tropics). That being said, to again emphasise, I really like a lot of the concepts here, and they could be transferred to a WA/NT map with no issues, and no changes to EC. Instead of the low/high country SEQ terrain of EC, a vast majority of the animals you've listed could be slotted into an environment like the Kimberly (tropical savannah), Pilbara (shrubland/desert), and the sandy deserts. That would definitely give more of the outback vibe this post seems to be looking for, as well as show off another side of Australia (while still touching on a lot of the issues EC already does, to really emphasise the damage invasive species do over here)

In all honesty, the only thing I'd do differently other than the setting is try and leave out as many of the EC animals as is reasonably possible (I'd personally be all for a little less focus on the deer and a little more focus on other ferals, like cattle, camels, cats, etc.), and include a few more native species in their place, including potentially the introduction of some smaller reptiles for the first time, like the perentie (I have my notes regarding this on my computer, though I'm not home at the moment to refer to them). The only other animal difference I really had was splitting dingos and feral dogs into two different animals with seperate behaviour (which may be controversial, but might also highlight another piece of Australian debate. Dingos being a little more skittish, while feral dogs would be markedly more aggressive)
