I think it would be really cool if you had an option to add suppressors/silencers to obviously reduce the noise of the rifle and or muzzle brakes to reduce recoil. This would be a very cool edition that in my opinion would make the game a lot more fun without making anything too overpowered. as muzzle breaks reduce the recoil they make the gun significantly louder, while suppressors/silencers obviously reduce the noise while also reducing the recoil slightly as they make the gun heavier (irl but it wouldnt have an effect in the game). Although that would also be a neat edition if the weight added onto your rifle by scopes or whatever else reduced the recoil but also potentially increasing the sway slightly as it would in real life. i have a .308 bolt action that is just under 8lbs by itself and when i first got it the recoil was nothing crazy but it probably went down 3 or 4 ftlbs after just adding around 2 lbs of weight with a scope and sling, but at the expense of it being just a little harder to free hand. Finally, the last thing i will yap about is being able to post your gun up or a tree or anything available to stabilize your gun. I would say that everyone That i know and myself when hunting with a rifle takes more shots either holding their gun against a tree, window of a blind, tripod, or even going prone and using a bipod attached to their rifle rather than just standing up and free handing it.
