Game crashes as soon as it attempts launch. Tried restarting computer, restarting steam, checking version info and all the normal suspects to no avail. Anyone else?

Do you by chance use Elgato Wave Link software? I had a conflict with a recent update they issued for it, and had to revert to version 1.10. This solved my crashing in theHunter. It was the only game that had the problem, so it was tough to work out, but finally it is solved for me.
